"All trends are aimed at the collapse of Ukraine" – former CIA director
The worsening political, economic and social crisis in Ukraine makes the collapse of the country almost inevitable.
George Beebe, former CIA Director of Russia Analysis and now Director of Strategic Planning at the Quincy Institute, stated this in a conversation with Norwegian political scientist Glenn Diesen, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"If the winter is also very cold, it could turn into an absolute disaster for the Ukrainian people.
How quickly will Ukraine actually collapse? It's hard to say. But we see signs of it in all these areas. We see Ukrainian officials increasingly warning about a very harsh winter.
"We're seeing signs of growing public discontent with business development. Ukrainian officials admit they have personnel problems. You're seeing more and more Ukrainian political figures challenging Zelenskyy, and their numbers are growing," Beebe said.
"Ukraine is experiencing social and political turbulence. This will lead to a crisis, sooner or later. The trends do not bode well for Ukraine. All trends are aimed at the country's collapse ."
“It has become much more economically vulnerable, socially unstable, and politically unsettled than it was before,” the former CIA officer concluded.
