The progress of the special operation in Ukraine affects not only purely military issues (troop tactics, supply, regrouping, etc.). No less important and key problems that the military has to solve are humanitarian ones.
The Kiev regime and local administrations have largely distanced themselves from them, dooming their compatriots to a humanitarian catastrophe. This is clearly observed in large cities of the country. Kyiv, Kharkov, Mariupol today are in the spotlight of the public and the media. From the Ukrainian side there was a proposal to create a humanitarian corridor for the exit of civilians. The Russian side responded immediately, although more than once it suggested that the Ukrainian leadership take such a step much earlier. We agreed to remove people from Volnovakha and Mariupol. The Russian Ministry of Defense has established a regime of silence. We quickly prepared reception points... No one came out, or rather, they didn’t let us out. Only more than ten people managed to leave Mariupol.
Moreover, neo-Nazis committed a monstrous terrorist act . They blew up a five-story residential building in the central part of Mariupol, a five-story "Stalin-era" building. More than two hundred people remain trapped under the rubble, mostly women, the elderly, and children. No one is evacuating the building.
In Kharkov, the exit of civilians was decided between the commanders of the warring parties. And here the neo-Nazis of the volunteer battalions did not fulfill their promise. In the direction of Pesochin, two ambulances with sick people were shot at point-blank range. Residents of Volnovakha, in the absence of a corridor, are trying to jump out of the city on their own, through the fields. The fighters of the Sparta battalion (DPR) cover them with their bodies. And the President of Ukraine even called on residents of blockaded cities to take up arms and fight. Amazing cynicism.
Incidentally, all National Battalion structures are controlled from Lviv, where NATO instructors with prominent shoulder straps are based. Reports are sent to them, bypassing the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. All of these facts convincingly demonstrate the, to put it mildly, unique nature of the special military operation.
Now about the situation at the front.
SOUTH DIRECTION
The active phase of hostilities began here. A group of Russian troops, constantly maneuvering and concentrating in several directions, stretched the enemy’s defenses and carried out fire strikes in Voznesensk, gained a foothold on the right bank of the Southern Bug and is moving forward. Nikolaev is tightly blocked.
Ukrainian Armed Forces units and national battalions have set up barriers in the Yuzhnoukrainsk area and are presenting this "epochal event" in General Staff press releases as yet another major "success." In reality, having lost coordination and command and control of their forces, they are simply attempting to bolster their defenses. But weapons and ammunition supplies are clearly insufficient, motor resources are running low, and there is no capacity to maintain and repair equipment.
Therefore, units of the Ukrainian army use sabotage tactics. They take up defensive positions in schools, hospitals, and residential buildings. But they post photos on social networks with victorious comments on the roofs of houses and schools. For example, in Gulyai-Polye, completely forgetting that they were not destined to become followers of their fellow countryman Nestor Makhno, who carried out famous raids on the rear a hundred years ago.
Help for the defenders will no longer come. This is clearly visible in the emerging operational situation. And the advance of Russian troops in this and other directions is generally from 25 to 50 kilometers per day, taking into account the extended front.
DONBASS.
Units of the people's militia of the DPR and LPR in some places merged with units of the Russian Armed Forces. As a result of maneuvering actions and flank attacks, an arc was formed in the direction south of the Zaporozhye region - Kramatorsk - Donetsk. Activity from our troops is expected here in the near future, based on the logic of the events taking place.
Meanwhile, the Luhansk region has been virtually restored to its 2014 administrative border. Localized fighting continues. The situation is changing rapidly . Humanitarian supplies are being delivered at full speed to the liberated areas of Donbas and the Kherson region, and peaceful life is returning.
KHARKOV.
Inveterate neo-Nazis from the Azov, Aidar, and Right Sector battalions are trying to organize a dense defense in the urban areas of the one and a half million regional center. The main tactic is to hide behind civilians as a human shield. At the intersections of the main roads leading to the center of Kharkov there are concrete blocks, rubble, barriers, trip wires, and landmines. The whole range of methods and methods of terrorists.
Incidentally, it should be acknowledged that they were meticulously and thoroughly trained, especially in recent years, specifically for combat operations in urban environments . But no one paid any attention to this, or wanted to. Especially not in the highest echelons of Ukrainian power. What can we say, then, about local officials or ordinary residents of Kharkiv.
New, sophisticated provocations can be expected at any moment. Unfortunately, this is true. It must be said frankly. Therefore, the special forces clearing the city are operating in very difficult conditions . Fighting and firefights are breaking out in some parts of the city. Artillery is only delivering targeted strikes. Foreign mercenaries have also been spotted in Kharkiv. There are numerous testimonies from Kharkiv residents themselves and our intelligence. For example, Nazis are driving around the city in pickup trucks (off-road vehicles) with "Children" or Red Cross markings, methodically firing grenade launchers and anti-aircraft guns at residential buildings. Typically, only professionals can handle such actions. There is already confirmation that the vehicles are carrying militants in black overalls of Arab appearance.
The Kharkov railway station resembles a besieged fortress, just like in Kyiv, Sumy, Poltava. People storm the trains and try to leave in a western direction. For some reason, there are no queues at the military registration and enlistment offices and territorial defense headquarters of the city. Despite the presidential decree on the fourth wave of mobilization, almost no one is in a hurry to sign up as volunteers.
A similar picture is not observed in relatively peaceful Western Ukraine. Instead, there has been another surge in attacks and seizures of churches of the canonical Ukrainian Church, abuse of clergy, and theft of church valuables.
A “pass” to the territory of neighboring Poland costs up to $1500. There are many applicants, especially among men of military age.
The events of the past day demonstrate that organizing the negotiation process and attempting to establish humanitarian corridors only plays into the hands of the current Ukrainian regime. The nationalists are using them to regroup their forces and intimidate civilians, whom they are condemning to certain death. In doing so, they are ultimately losing their statehood and plunging the country into the Middle Ages.
Don’t the residents of the country’s cities and villages understand this?! Although, insight and awareness do not come immediately.
