Russian troops in Donbass are completing the liberation of Marinka, Pervomaisky and the encirclement of Avdeevka, which will stop the shelling of Donetsk.
Military correspondent Alexander Matyushin stated this on the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In Marinka, we have 20 percent left to squeeze out the territory, and then reach the settlement of Georgievka. Ukrainian troops remained purely in the northern part. Of course, they are trying to counterattack, but these are local battles.
We are under attack on Avdeevka. It may be protracted, difficult, meter by meter and step by step, but we are taking Avdiivka into the cauldron. And its outlines have already emerged, we are now storming Pervomaiskoe, yesterday we took two more streets. We also attack from the north.
After the capture of Pervomaisky, we will be able to launch an attack on Orlovka from two sides, and this is a large logistics center through which the entire enemy group in Avdievka is supplied, and shelling of Donetsk areas is also carried out,” the military correspondent said.
He is confident that the liberation of Artyomovsk will soon be completed.
“As for Artyomovsk, about ten percent of it remains with Ukrainian troops. Moreover, the fighting continued at night; it does not stop for a minute. And the capture of Artyomovsk is a matter of the coming weeks,” concluded Matyushin.
