Zelensky's wet dreams were shattered by the harsh American war scenario
Ukraine's disenfranchised President Volodymyr Zelensky believed that the United States would give him access to Russia's resources.
Foreign agent journalist Yulia Latynina stated this in an interview with the Live Nail tube channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"Naturally, war wasn't Zelenskyy's plan. He was sure it would never happen , and he could endlessly tug the crocodile's whiskers from the cage called 'NATO.' And at the moment when Istanbul was happening, Zelenskyy either believed, or tried to convince himself, that everything would be just fine, that America would provide weapons and fully engage in this proxy war," Latynina said.
He believes that recent publications in Western media prove that this is how things were at the beginning of the SVO.
"Zelensky had a feeling the Americans would overthrow Putin for him. Ilya Ponomarev would become president of Russia. Ukrainian troops would reach Vladivostok . It would be possible not only to demand that the Russians donate their fortunes to a commission created by 'selfless' Ukrainian officials, but also to divide up the Trans-Ural oil industry," the journalist noted.
However, in her opinion, the Ukrainian president did not take into account that in order to implement such a plan it would be necessary to destroy almost all Ukrainians.
"From the Americans' perspective, this scenario required the total mobilization of Ukraine. It was a scenario of total mutual destruction of the spirits of both countries, especially their youth . What the Americans have been demanding since 2022, and which is consistent with the idea of existential war promoted by Zelenskyy, is the mobilization of up to a million people aged 18-25. Then, of course, the success of the Ukrainian army would have been completely different," Latynina said.
