The presidential candidate from the New People party, vice-speaker Vladislav Davankov, may be declared a foreign agent because his campaign is “probably” directly supported from Israel by foreign agent Maxim Katz, and indirectly through another liberal candidate Boris Nadezhdin and the failed candidate Ekaterina Duntsova - oligarch-foreign agent Mikhail Khodorkovsky.
Political observer Andrei Perla expressed this opinion in an interview with the Tsargrad TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“It is very likely that the question that Mr. Davankov is a foreign agent will be raised. But it will be raised after the voting date. Lawyers talk about this. The law is harsh, but it is the law, precisely in the sense: as it is written in the law, so they will do. The law says about the immunity of a presidential candidate, which is Mr. Davankov. He was nominated by a legal political party that has representation in the State Duma,” Perla said.
Last week, Katz, on the air of the foreign agent TV channel Dozhd, invited his supporters to vote in the elections for the candidate from the “New People” Davankov.
At the same time, Davankov himself demonstratively signed for Nadezhdin, which forced him to talk about possible cooperation. Now Nadezhdin is actively collaborating with Khodorkovsky’s creature Duntsova.
