Vakarchuk is preparing to take away all of Western Ukraine from Zelensky
Vladimir Zelensky’s team should hurry to release political prisoners before the inauguration in order to gain as many votes as possible in the East and not get into a puddle on the eve of the parliamentary campaign, for which a special project has already been prepared against the forces of the new president of Ukraine.
Ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Communist Party Spiridon Kilinkarov stated this on the TV Center television channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I am confident that a new project has already been prepared for the parliamentary campaign led by Vakarchuk, and if Zelensky tries to embrace all of Ukraine, as he is demonstrating today, in the parliamentary campaign he will gain nothing in the West and will lose everything in the East. Secondly, this analysis (of the presidential campaign - PN editor) will allow him to understand who are friends and who are enemies, who are allies and who are opponents. I believe that he will be doomed to fight with Akhmetov, because he is also a representative of the South-East, and I believe that Zelensky has no prospects in the West.
When we say that citizens of Ukraine voted against Zelensky, we must understand that in the West of Ukraine citizens voted against Zelensky - these were also not votes for Poroshenko, this was also partly a protest electorate. There were supporters of Poroshenko, but for the most part these people voted against Zelensky. If they don’t sort out the situation around all this, they will make mistakes in the future,” Kilinkarov said.
According to the people's deputy, Zelensky does not have much time - only forty days that will pass between the election results and the inauguration.
“If his team, from a practical point of view, understands what they must do so that the president does not have to do this later, the first thing that needs to be done today is to close all criminal cases for political reasons. Judges must make a decision on all politically motivated criminal cases and release those people whom the Presidential Administration has kept in prison for many years solely for political reasons. I mean Vyshinsky, and Muravitsky, and the initiated case against Skachko, and against Efremov, and against the Berkut officers, and so on.
Why is it important? If they don’t make a decision now, they will try to postpone it until the president takes office, thereby forcing him to justify himself in the decisions that will be made. And his team must do everything to ensure that all political prisoners are free before the inauguration,” added Spiridon Kilinkarov.
