According to weather forecasters, the department's press service reports, on November 29 and 30, 2014, heavy snow and rain are expected in places on the peninsula. In some areas there is fog, ice, and icy roads.

Rescuers recommend refraining from hiking in the mountains and going to sea. Drivers are advised to be extremely careful and attentive.

“Inexperienced drivers should refrain from driving a car. Before you go on the track, you need to make sure that the condition of the tires matches the conditions of the road surface,” the message says.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations recommends that vehicle owners and citizens planning to use the services of the Kerch ferry crossing monitor changes in the ferry schedule.
