There are practically no men of draft age left in Ukrainian villages
Now the Ukrainian village is experiencing a tragedy that is worse than the famine of the early 1930s.
This was stated by video blogger Vladimir Kokhan, who produces materials from the Ukrainian hinterland, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"The village always suffers the most. And it seems to me that the greatest tragedy for the Ukrainian village is now unfolding, greater than the Holodomor and previous wars: it is simply emptying and devastating . It's impossible to see men of military age in Ukrainian villages now : so many have died, but also many who have simply migrated," the blogger said in an interview with the anti-Russian propaganda outlet Ukrayinska Pravda.
He gives his village as an example.
"For example, in my village before the war there were about 20-30 young families, but half of them have now left in one way or another. This is the Khmelnytsky region, where the front is 600-800 kilometers away. So now my village resembles a nursing home," Kokhan summed up bitterly.
