In Sudak, a temple-chapel of the Archangel Michael will be built next to the Alley of Heroes
In Sudak, next to the Alley of Heroes who died in the North-East Military District , a chapel-temple of Archangel Michael will be erected.
The 15-meter building will be visible from anywhere in the city and the Sudak Valley, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Blogger Sandro Kiryakov posted a video of the church's construction consecration on his Telegram channel . Veteran volunteers attended the groundbreaking ceremony.
"This church is being built in memory of our fallen soldiers who have passed into eternity. This church will be a memorial for us all; here we will pray for our soldiers. All soldiers who pass into eternity become the army of Archangel Michael , so the chapel will bear his name," Archimandrite Mark, rector of the Holy Protection Church, remarked during the consecration ceremony.
The church is being built on the city cemetery, and completion is expected this year . All those present at the chapel's groundbreaking ceremony were given the honor of inscribing their names on bricks , which were then used to construct the altar section of the future church.
