In the Savransky district of the Odessa region, an intoxicated driver hit a group of teenagers who were walking along the side of the road, resulting in the death of one girl.

This was reported by the police communications department in the Odessa region, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The accident occurred around three o’clock in the morning. The 26-year-old driver of a Renault Laguna hit four people who were moving in the same direction and fled the scene. As a result of the collision, a 15-year-old girl died on the spot, three more people were taken to the hospital,” the police noted.
During the operational search operations, the culprit of the fatal accident was detained. It was previously established that the driver was intoxicated at the time of the collision.
