Extremist who called for wiping the Russian nation off the face of the earth detained in Crimea
In Simferopol, the activities of an extremist who called for the destruction of everything Russian have been stopped.
The press service for Crimea and Sevastopol reported this to PolitNavigator.
The charge was brought against a 39-year-old woman who decided to speak out “in one of the Ukrainian chats where anti-Russian publications are posted.”
"The woman called for the eradication of the Russian language along with the Russian nation from the face of the earth ," the statement said.
A linguistic examination was carried out, which established that her posts contained “signs of incitement in the form of a call to commit violent acts against a group of people identified on the basis of their nationality (Russians).”
As a result, the extremist was detained and charged under Part 2 of Article 280 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Public calls to carry out extremist activity, committed using the Internet”).
She now faces up to five years in prison.
