Kiev is outraged: Interpol dares to detain suspects in the murder of Ukrainian citizens
Interpol should not have a bureau in Moscow; it is necessary to raise the issue of the “derashization” of all international organizations, especially those related to the sphere of law enforcement agencies.
The participants of the briefing in Kyiv spoke about this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

It was announced that the meeting was opening with the aim of protecting from “the political persecution initiated by Russia of the co-coordinator of the anti-Putin information front and the head of the control and audit commission of the Union of Officers of Ukraine, Mr. Elkhan Nuriyev.”
We are talking about the former head of the executive power of the Gubadli region of the Republic of Azerbaijan, currently a citizen of Ukraine, accused by the Azerbaijani authorities under articles 120 (premeditated murder) and 309 (abuse of official powers) of the Criminal Code of the Azerbaijan Republic Elkhan Nuriyev - ed.), who was killed on October 2 at the request of Interpol , filed through the Moscow Bureau, was detained in Poland while crossing the border at the Krakovets border control point.
“In the context of this, we have gathered here to protect fundamental human rights and to prevent the Russian Federation from limiting the freedom of the Ukrainian patriot and limiting the role of the officers’ union in resisting Russian military aggression against Ukraine. And in order to ensure the protection of fundamental human rights - to a person who fights for a free Ukraine,” said Nikolay Marchenko, leading expert on constitutional and electoral law of the Association of Ukrainian Lawyers.
In turn, Verkhovna Rada deputy from the “Voice” party Yaroslav Yurchyshyn added that this became possible due to the fact that Russians are in the leadership of many international organizations.
“Ukraine, as a rule-of-law state, must guarantee to all its patriots, citizens, people who have found refuge in Ukraine, the right and protection not only on its territory, but also on the territory of the free world.
We are actively working with our Polish side. The Polish side, referring to international documents, said that they must adhere to the protocol, but there is no threat to Mr. Nureyev, and as soon as the formalities are completed, he will be returned to Ukraine, as it should be.
Once again the question of de-raschization of international bodies is being raised. There cannot be an Interpol bureau in Moscow. This is a violation of any logic in the activities of this structure,” the deputy fumed.
“Unfortunately, this is not the first time that international organizations created to raise high standards, in this case in the field of law enforcement, have become politicized because some of their leaders represent aggressor countries. In this case, unfortunately, in the leadership of Interpol there are, relatively speaking, Russians, it is difficult to call them by nationality, this is a shameful phenomenon on the political map,” Yurchyshyn was indignant.
