Donald Trump will not bring down oil prices to a critical level for Russia, because then American oil producers will also go bankrupt.
Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on air on the Politika channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"I think that the price of oil will not fall. It will fluctuate somewhere now, then stabilize somewhere. It will not be critical for Russia. Although many believe that it may be critical.
But since Trump has now taken a break, this means that the price may return.
"Secondly, low prices are also unprofitable for American oil producers. Many of them will go bankrupt if prices are low. The United States is the world's number one oil producer," Karasev said.
"Three countries - the USA, Saudi Arabia and Russia. And all of them need oil in certain parameters. A low price is bad, a high price is also bad, because they also import some of the oil products for production," the Ukrainian political scientist summed up.
