Regular attempts by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to carry out drone strikes on Russian rear areas are needed in order to sow panic and discredit the Russian Armed Forces before the offensive.
Kiev military expert Oleg Starikov stated this in an interview with Ukrainian journalist Alexander Shelest, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In this way [with drone strikes and terrorist attacks] we show that their armed forces cannot fulfill the task that the Constitution sets for them. This is all part of the upcoming counter-offensive, namely the psychological component.
We are doing everything possible to discredit their Armed Forces and create panic in the border areas. This is being done correctly. In order to discredit the Armed Forces, the commanders, and then get to their Supreme Commander-in-Chief,” the military expert said.
