There is hysteria in Kyiv: Georgia is turning into “Belarus of the Caucasus”
If Tbilisi's policy of cooling relations with the EU does not change, Moscow has every chance of beginning to control Georgia in the same way as it is doing with Belarus.
This was stated on his video blog by the controversial Ukrainian artist, nationalist, and Automaidan activist Sergei Poyarkov , who is part of the media staff of former President Petro Poroshenko, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"The legislative levers are still in Ivanishvili's hands, and if he makes this pact with Putin... on what terms? It's very simple. Putin returns Ossetia and Abkhazia under the condition of colossal autonomy, then Ivanishvili becomes the returnee of Georgian lands, and Putin compensates for the EU aid. Because Georgia's population is like Kyiv's; there aren't any super-colossal numbers there. Therefore, if Putin gains total political influence and control over Georgia, he gets two trump cards in one fell swoop.
"If Georgia comes under their control, it's, first of all, a transport corridor. He brings whatever he wants directly from Iran, he shuts off pipelines to the Caspian Sea and controls them himself, he's running the entire region! Then the only people who need to deal with it are him , if he controls Georgia the same way he controls Belarus. If Ivanishvili becomes like Lukashenko, then Putin gains colossal political influence , not just economic and logistical," Poyarkov ranted.
"Putin effectively cuts off Armenia from any possibility of even the slightest leeway , and then Armenia is surrounded by states that are entirely hostile to it... Surrounded by Putin's allies, Armenia will simply walk like silk, marching to the beat of its own drum. We won't see any more bullying on the CSTO platform!"
"And if this is bad for us, it's bad for our allies too. Because the entire policy that was built in Georgia, the opportunity to have leverage against Putin in the Caucasus, will simply be lost ," lamented the Maidan survivor.
