This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of the Kharkov region, a PolitNavigator correspondent.

On July 29, at 16:23, rescuers received a report that a small child was trapped in a washing machine.

Four rescuers immediately left for the specified address in a first aid fire truck. It turned out that a seven-year-old boy, Volodya, while playing hide-and-seek with his sister, got into the washing machine, which he then could not get out of on his own.

The entire rescue process took less than 20 minutes.

“The guy held on and almost didn’t cry. The rescuers immediately calmed the boy and his mother, told him that everything would be fine now and began the rescue operation. They smeared the guy and the drum of the washing machine with ordinary vegetable oil, and the child easily slipped out of the trap,” said the State Emergency Service.
