“Tariffs” for concealing shortages in Ukrainian Armed Forces warehouses were announced in Donetsk
For a small monetary reward, the inspection commission of the Joint Forces Operations headquarters agreed to “turn a blind eye” to shortages and violations of fire safety rules at ammunition depots in one of the brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Official representative of the operational command of the DPR Eduard Basurin spoke about this today during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
In particular, he noted that the intelligence of the DPR NM continues to receive information about facts of theft and corruption in the zone of “operation of the occupying forces.”
“During the inspection by the JFO headquarters commission of ammunition depots in the 57th motorized infantry brigade, a major shortage and gross violations of fire safety standards were identified when equipping ammunition storage sites, which, as we know, have repeatedly led to serious man-made disasters, such as fires in warehouses and arsenals of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Svatovo, Balakleya, Ichnya and Kalinovka,” said Eduard Basurin.
He added that despite the bitter experience, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continues to neglect security measures and such issues are often “resolved” on the spot.
“In this case, for 30 thousand hryvnia received from the commander of the 57th brigade Mishanchuk, the inspectors from the JFO headquarters, Colonel Tishchenko and Colonel Datsko, hid the identified shortcomings from their command,” the representative of the defense department said in conclusion.
