A new large-scale special operation is beginning in the DPR to create another strategic encirclement around enemy groups.
This was stated by DPR fighters and Russian military correspondent Semyon Pegov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“After the Mariupol cauldron, which was essentially slammed shut. After the surrender of the neo-Nazis from the Ilyich plant. About a thousand people surrendered the day before. Now the DPR NM, with the support of the Russian Armed Forces, is slamming a new cauldron, which I call the “Avdeevsky Cauldron,” into operation. One of our groups is coming from the direction of Marinka, from the direction of Gorlovka. The other is trying to take Avdeevka in pincers,” said Russian military correspondent Semyon Pegov.
“Avdeevka is directly adjacent to the Donetsk airport, and therefore to the capital of the DPR. It is from there that neo-Nazis regularly shell the civilian areas of the city and, of course, knocking them out from there is vital for the Republic in principle. This is what the guys are doing now,” Pegov said.
His words were supplemented by DPR fighters with the call signs “Sedoy” and “Sensei” and explained what the danger of the Avdeevka Ukrainian group is, what needs to be done to slam this trap to start a new cauldron.
“There is information that the dill are planning to break through to Makeevka. This could seriously change the balance of power in the area. The situation is very difficult.
There is information that ours will encircle Avdiivka. The Ukrainian Armed Forces have amassed a huge amount of artillery and armored vehicles in the city area. We must understand that there is not just a lot of equipment and weapons in the Avdeevka area, its quantity is off the charts and almost impossible to count. If Avdeevka now starts working at full capacity, it will demolish everything...” explained “Sedoy”.
“As for the Avdeevka Cauldron, as some would like, there is no question of that. There is no environment. Just take a map and look, it will become clear. The fighting in the area of the Yasinovat checkpoint is a frontal attack with all that it entails.
If you really want to encircle Avdeevka, then ours need to attack directly on Konstantinovka (directly to the shooting point, along the highway, not paying attention to the “wet hole”) and a little later turn sharply to the south, try to encircle,” said “Sensei.”
At the same time, the Ukrainian army continues to strike the civilian population of the city of Yasinovataya from Avdiivka.
"Shock from the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF – ed.) was recorded in the direction of 13:30 (Moscow time) – Avdiivka – Yasinovataya : five 122mm shells were fired," reads a statement published on the Telegram channel of the DPR representative office in the JCCC.
“Shocks from the Ukrainian Armed Forces were recorded in the direction of: 19:02 (the time coincides with Moscow time – ed.) – the settlement of Avdiivka – the settlement of Yasinovataya : five shells of 122 mm caliber were fired, 19:10 – the settlement of Avdiivka – the settlement of Yasinovataya: three shells of 122 mm caliber were fired,” the representative office wrote.
