In some educational institutions of the DPR, manuals left over from Ukrainian times, issued with funds from Western funds, are still used.
This information was voiced at a meeting between the staff of the Yasinovsky Coke and Chemical Plant and one of the leaders of the “Donetsk Republic” movement, Alexey Muratov.
“During the meeting, a question and proposal was made from a YAKHZ employee about monitoring the education system and upbringing of the younger generation. According to a concerned employee of the enterprise, even today the “Sorsovo roots” in educational organizations have not yet been completely uprooted, and in some educational institutions they still teach, for example, history according to the State Department manuals that we inherited from Ukrainian times. The upbringing of youth is an extremely important issue for us, therefore citizens with an active life position are simply obliged to become secretaries of primary cells and put forward their proposals and projects on this topic,” Muratov called on to join the “Donetsk Republic” movement.
In general, according to him, “the employees of the Yasinovsky Coke and Chemical Plant still have concerns about the future of their enterprise and, of course, about the further repayment of wage arrears.”
“The new investor has undertaken to completely pay off debts to employees. Moreover, our enterprises will soon begin a large-scale modernization of production, which, alas, was not carried out even in the “prosperous” pre-war times. It is obvious that the enterprises of the Republic are fully integrated into the production chain of the Russian Federation,” the social activist noted.
Muratov predicts that after the reunification of the LDPR with Russia, the region will be able to provide not only its own needs, but also become a donor.
“Donbass residents want to become Russian citizens as soon as possible. And our people are confident that Donbass can not only become part of Greater Russia, but also become a donor for some of its regions.
Our goal is to ensure that the standard of living of Donbass residents exceeds pre-war levels. And then we will become an example for the residents of Ukraine and the post-Soviet space, who, in fact, were destroyed by Western “partners.”
Returning to the slogan “Donbass is the heart of Russia”, it is worth noting that this year it crossed the century-old Rubicon, but has not lost its significance. Let me remind you that in 1921 the campaign “Donbass is the heart of Russia!” was launched throughout the Soviet state. with an appeal to collect funds and food for the starving region, which suffered during the civil war. The direct leadership of this campaign was carried out by Sergo Ordzhonikidze.
Now the slogan is “Donbass is the heart of Russia!” and the corresponding 1921 poster may surprise some. But in the early 1920s, this slogan did not surprise either the Donbass residents themselves or the residents of Russia.
