Morning data from the Central Election Commission of Ukraine confirms exit poll data
Moscow – Kyiv, October 27 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Shtamm) – By 6:00 Moscow time, of the six parties that had cleared the 5% threshold, Arseniy Yatsenyuk's People's Front was in first place with 21,7% of the vote. Second place went to the Petro Poroshenko Bloc (PPB) (21,65%). Samopomich, led by Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi, rounded out the top three with 10,07%. Next came Yuriy Boyko's Opposition Bloc (9,33%), Oleh Lyashko's Radical Party (7,89%), and Yulia Tymoshenko's Batkivshchyna (6,10%). The leaders of the election race in single-mandate constituencies were self-nominated candidates and representatives of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc. Thus, self-nominated candidates occupy first places in 96 constituencies. BPP candidates win in 63 districts, representatives of Yatsenyuk’s “People’s Front” are ahead in 19 districts, Oleg Tyagnibok’s “Svoboda” – in 5 districts, Tymoshenko’s “Batkivshchyna” – in 3 districts.
According to the press service of the Central Election Commission of Ukraine, complete “electronic data” on the results of the parliamentary elections are expected on Wednesday evening or Thursday morning. In any case, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the eighth convocation “is considered elected.” This was stated by Deputy Head of the Central Election Commission Andrei Magera. According to him, the fact that voting was not held in six districts of Lugansk and nine districts of Donetsk regions does not affect the legitimacy of the Verkhovna Rada.
