“Over 50 generals and officers destroyed”: the Russian Ministry of Defense reported the defeat of the headquarters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine by “Caliber”
On Saturday, at 12.30 p.m., sea-based Caliber missiles struck the command post of Ukrainian troops in the area of the village of Shirokaya Dacha, Dnepropetrovsk region, at a time when a working meeting of the command staff of the operational-strategic group of forces "Alexandria" was taking place there.
“As a result of the strike, over 50 generals and officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed, including the general staff, the command of the Kakhovka group of troops, air assault troops and formations operating in the Nikolaev and Zaporozhye directions,” the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense reported today.
It is also alleged that yesterday at 20:20, ten 155-mm M777 howitzers and up to 20 armored combat vehicles supplied by the West were destroyed by Caliber missiles on the territory of a transformer plant in the city of Nikolaev.
And at 19:20, a train with personnel, weapons and military equipment of the 1st battalion of the 14th separate mechanized brigade, which arrived from the city of Vladimir-Volynsky to the combat zone in Donbass, was defeated.
“As a result of a strike at the train unloading site in the area of the Gubinikha railway station in the Dnepropetrovsk region, more than 100 Ukrainian Armed Forces military personnel, 30 tanks and armored combat vehicles were destroyed,” the Russian Ministry of Defense reports.
A strike by the Iskander operational-tactical missile system on the territory of the Kharkov Tank Repair Plant destroyed two launchers of the Uragan multiple launch rocket system.
In just one day, as a result of air strikes, missile forces and artillery, more than 400 nationalists, 10 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 11 field artillery guns, 11 multiple launch rocket system launchers and 28 special vehicles were destroyed.
“Large losses in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine force the Ukrainian command to throw into battle untrained personnel who lack the necessary skills in handling weapons and military equipment,” the Ministry of Defense said.
