Poroshenko died after a stroke
Alexey Poroshenko, the father of former president and oligarch Petro Poroshenko, has died in Ukraine.
This was announced by the European Solidarity party, headed by the ex-president.
“Today the heart of the great man of labor, farmer, public and political figure, Hero of Ukraine, father of the fifth President of Ukraine Alexei Ivanovich Poroshenko stopped beating. He dedicated his entire life to serving Ukraine, developing its economy, and caring about people,” Poroshenko’s associates pompously stated.
It is noteworthy that yesterday, political expert Taras Berezovets, who serves the interests of Petro Poroshenko, reported that Alexei Poroshenko had a stroke.
“He is in one of the clinics in Kyiv. His condition is assessed as stable,” Berezovets said.
The other day Alexey Poroshenko turned 84 years old. During Soviet times, he managed a plant in Tiraspol and was convicted of embezzlement and misrepresentation.
