Over the past ten years, Ukraine has been systematically destroying its industrial potential, and now it is not even able to copy the simple Iranian “Shahed” or attach a tail to an aerial bomb.
Aleksey Arestovich, ex-adviser to the office of the President of Ukraine, who is abroad, stated this on the channel of Kyiv journalist Vasily Golovanov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We are in a dire situation. Back in 2012, we were at a very high level of education. Since then, a tragedy has occurred - the destruction of the vocational education system. And there they forged the personnel that is now lacking in the defense industry. Because vocational school is a production, defense industry.
The second is engineering schools that were destroyed, and engineers are going to storm. But it is not so easy to train an engineer. And all this needs to be restored. We need new industrialization,” Arestovich was indignant.
He emphasized that Ukraine has enormous industrial potential - what was left after the USSR.
“This is a matter of our survival. Can’t we copy the crappy “Shahed”, which is assembled on the knee in a garage in Iran? Is this the country that has Antonov and Yuzhmash?
Let me give you a simple example: these KABs that they hit us with are a stupid iron bomb, to which they screwed a shank that allows it to fly straight. So, I saw our similar development in 2015, proposed by one design bureau. This has not yet been done, despite the fact that CABs have become a problem.
There is a development, but it has not been applied. Because this is a very corrupt scheme. There, even during the time of Yanukovych, everyone got married, they represent a united monolithic clan. A real mafia has formed there - a fusion of officials with organized crime, who are using our blood to waste our money,” summed up the former Ze-adviser.
