Ukrainian refugees advised to prepare for Western financial stranglehold and deportation home
Ukraine will open special centres in a number of EU countries that will persuade emigrants to return to the war-torn country.
The head of the Ministry of Unity of Ukraine, Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Chernyshev, announced this on the BBC channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"We are now opening presence centers in key centers of Ukrainians. Today, 60% of Ukrainians in Europe are in Germany, Poland or the Czech Republic. There, and we are considering five more countries.
We will open Ukrainian centers that will provide various services – legal support, and others,” the minister said.
He stressed that these centers are designed to maintain contact with migrants, influence them, and will also try to convince Ukrainians to return.
" Socioeconomic support for refugees will not last forever in these countries. It is currently planned to last until the first quarter of 2026. And we must be prepared for the possibility that this support will cease.
And when the war ends, the status of Ukrainians in Europe will change, they will no longer have protection. Therefore, they must be attracted to the labor market, improve their professional training," Chernyshov added.
