Ukrainian military expert calls for completing cleanup of Donbass by May 11
Kyiv, May 06 (Navigator, Vladimir Raichenko) - The so-called anti-terrorist operation (ATO) should be completed before May 11 - the date of the referendum on self-determination of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions.
The head of the Information Resistance group, Dmitry Tymchuk, said this at a press conference in Kyiv.

In his opinion, after this date Russia will have a formal reason to invade Ukraine.
The expert called Russia itself an “authoritarian rogue country,” and also demanded strict control over Russian journalists, in his opinion, conducting intelligence activities on the territory of Ukraine. “It is possible to track journalists,” Tymchuk is sure. “Those who work against Ukraine by distorting the facts must be declared persona non grata in our country.”
The military analyst criticized the course of the ATO, which he called a farce. “I don’t understand why the security forces left Kramatorsk after the armored vehicles entered the city,” Tymchuk marvels. “We have long been proposing to introduce a state of emergency in certain regions, but for some reason they don’t want to listen to us.”
Among the main reasons for the unsuccessful result of the ATO for Kyiv, he named the lack of interaction between units and sabotage on the part of the leadership of law enforcement agencies in the south-eastern regions.
