Ukrainian Colonel Fears Ukrainian Drones Will Soon Become Useless
The Ukrainian army is facing a shortage of ammunition for drones due to the low level of explosive production.
This was stated on the channel of the former speaker of the Right Sector, banned in the Russian Federation, Boryslav Bereza, by the SBU colonel, secretary of the Committee for National Security, Defense and Intelligence of the Verkhovna Rada Roman Kostenko, a correspondent for PolitNavigator reports.
"I think the biggest problem right now, rather than the presence of drones, on the front lines could become, and already is, the availability of ammunition for these drones. Because we manufacture drones, we transfer them, we supply them, but ammunition— we already have a problem, because we still don't make our own explosives . And where private companies make them using, say, their own or purchased explosives, they don't have the funds to buy them in sufficient quantities ..."
We can make a lot of drones, even 10 million, but if these drones have nothing to hit the enemy with, then we can simply hold competitions to have these drones simply fly over us,” Kostenko said.
