Ukrainian MP: We will put down Putin’s entire army in the event of an assault on Kyiv
The Russian army can reach Kyiv, but will not be able to leave it. Verkhovna Rada deputy Sergei Kunitsyn from the Petro Poroshenko Bloc stated this on air on the Rada TV channel.
He threatened the Russian army with resistance from every building in Kyiv.

"We understand who we're up against—the second-largest and most armed army in the world. We're not yet ready to retake [ territories ] militarily, especially since Crimea has a crazy group—the Black Sea Fleet, the air force, and so on. They're rattling their weapons, holding exercises all the time..."
I think that there is no need to exaggerate the capabilities of the Russian army. Putin once said that it would reach Kyiv in two weeks. You can get here, but it will be simply impossible to leave here. No one would have left, they would have been greeted from every balcony,” Kunitsyn said.
