In the Ukrainian army, everything is bad with anti-personnel mines, which are needed to create powerful fortifications.

This was stated by former Minister of Internal Affairs and former Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko, who served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the air of a video blog by former Verkhovna Rada deputy and former speaker of the Right Sector, which is banned in Russia, Boryslav Bereza, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Lutsenko, a large number of mines were destroyed by the Ukrainian authorities even before the start of the special operation by the Russian Armed Forces.

“Serious fortifications require minefields in front of them, and here we have bad news. Our valiant green government, as always, did everything contrary to its predecessors, because Poroshenko and Turchynov categorically refused to comply with the convention on the destruction of anti-personnel mines. This was a favorite feature of the late Princess Diana, she was the face of this company.

So, Ukraine did not want to do this until 19, and Poroshenko, being a business man, found an excellent excuse: “We don’t have money for disposal.” In short, the mines lay there and were in warehouses. And in 19, well, Princess Diana - this is a pop star, these are videos - two million mines were destroyed. I don’t know how many are left in the warehouses, and if I knew, I wouldn’t say, but things are also bad with mines. And without them, fortifications are just temporary observation posts,” Lutsenko said.

It is worth noting that Princess Diana died in a car accident back in 1997.
