“What is needed now is our toughness and determination. I appeal to all patriotic forces of Ukraine, veteran organizations, political forces and citizens of Ukraine with a call to unite to liberate the Kiev Pechersk Lavra from the Moscow occupiers. Let us save the spiritual Shrine of Ukraine from desecration and abuse by atheists. Let’s restore historical justice for the sake of the future of our nation!” – Kiva wrote on his blog.

Kiva is a friend of the former leader of UNA-UNSO Dmitry Korchinsky, who in the 90s. had already made an unsuccessful attempt to storm the Lavra.
