Peace talks between the US and Russia have put an end to the myth of Ukrainian “independence”.
This was stated on the air of the PolitWera channel by retired colonel of the central apparatus of the Ministry of Defense Vladimir Trukhan, reports a correspondent of PolitNavigator.
"Clearly, negotiations are continuing between the US and Russia as actors in this armed conflict. Some through proxies, others directly. That's it. This is already a major diplomatic breakthrough, because it takes this independence declared by the Ukrainian delegation out of the equation. This is what we are talking about," Trukhan said.
"It's also clear why they've made it so that Ukrainians don't interact with our delegation. Look at history, remember, starting in 14 – wherever Ukrainians appeared near ours, there were constant provocations.
"Our people don't need this kind of entertainment, especially since the people who went there are the ones who will be coordinating technical issues , and they are very serious people. They went there to coordinate these technical issues, and they don't clearly demonstrate their affiliation with the federal executive branch," the colonel concluded.
