Ukraine, through the thorns of the “hybrid war,” is building a tunnel to Europe
Despite the attempts of the “aggressor country” to tear Ukraine apart, the Ukrainians built a railway tunnel connecting Galicia and Transcarpathia.
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko stated this during the grand opening of the new Beskydy railway tunnel in the Carpathians, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In conditions when Russia is not only an aggressor country, not only waging a hybrid war against us, trying to separate different parts of Ukraine, the tunnel tightly connected Galicia and Transcarpathia. This is very important and symbolic,” Poroshenko said.
“When Russia introduced an embargo as part of a hybrid war, completely closed its markets to Ukrainian producers, trying to bring Ukraine to its knees, Ukrainian producers improved quality, increased production, and today Poland alone is almost comparable to Russia in terms of trade volume. And the entire European Union exceeds forty percent of our trade turnover,” added the Ukrainian president.
