Coronavirus has brought Ukraine to the brink of a new riot
The Ukrainian authorities are afraid of growing discontent, and therefore abandoned plans to introduce another lockdown.
Political expert Oleksiy Kalinichenko announced this at a press conference in Kyiv, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Everyone is already throwing out such hooks that there will not be a complete lockdown. This is probably happening because some kind of critical mass of discontent is already felt, that it has already reached its peak. If we introduce a complete lockdown, then there will be a popular revolt. This cannot be allowed. Perhaps this is why such statements are made. Maybe it’s too early to launch more such “Maidan” processes,” Kalinichenko said.
