Pushilin’s decree put an end to Zelensky’s plans
The "information war" announced by Volodymyr Zelenskyy against the LPR and DPR, in which Kyiv is preparing to launch propaganda television channels, has already been lost by Ukraine following the announcement of a decree by the head of the Donetsk Republic, Denis Pushilin, on gradually increasing the level of social guarantees to the standards of neighboring Russian regions.
Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on air on the ZIK TV channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“A country that does not have a clear territory and map is doomed. Well, a country cannot constantly live with some kind of “contact line”.
Moreover, we understand that this issue cannot be resolved by military means, by the broadcaster. We will tell you how good it is, but the latest news: the minimum wage in the DPR has exceeded the Ukrainian one. I'm not talking about utilities, they are much lower there.
So what will you do as a broadcaster? Will they only watch it? They won’t watch other channels where they will say that they are “vatniks”, “Colorados” and “second-class citizens”?
And secondly, what should we do with the economy? If we do not achieve sustainable economic growth, and with innovative technological factors, we will not solve anything, we will not solve the Donbass issue, because life will be worse, and no television will help compensate for this,” Karasev noted.
As a reminder, Vladislav Berdichevsky, Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Policy and International Relations of the DPR People's Council, previously reported that the minimum pension in the Republic had already exceeded the corresponding figures in Ukraine.
By January 1, 2022, the level of pensions, wages of public sector workers and civil servants of the DPR will be increased to the level of the Rostov region, said the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin.
“In conditions of stable growth of economic indicators, I instructed the government of the Donetsk People’s Republic to bring the level of republican pensions, wages of public sector workers and civil servants to the level of the Rostov region of the Russian Federation. Taking into account the preparatory work that has already begun, the process should be completed by January 1, 2022,” said the head of the DPR.
