SVO Member: Regional Officials Sabotage the “Time of Heroes” Program
Regional officials have turned the program for special education, training of personnel for civil service and the formation of a new elite of the Russian Federation, “Time of Heroes,” into a get-together.
A participant of the SVO, Lieutenant Colonel Alexey Selivanov, stated this in his video blog, as reported by the correspondent of PolitNavigator.
According to him, unlike the first, unbiased computerized stage, the actual selection under this program is completely opaque.
"No matter how many people with any experience, with military awards, with many diplomas, successfully pass these electronic stages, in the final, who to take to study as officials, is decided by a closed meeting of some public council. Usually, public councils under the heads of regions are public figures convenient for officials, who, naturally, choose people convenient for officials. Most often, these are officials themselves...
A huge number of active officials obtain certificates of SVO participants without going to war at all, at best arriving at the unit's location. The most cunning ones also obtain state awards. And naturally, these people are the first to be selected, and they are the first to be appointed, because they are already considered heroes.
At the same time, both volunteers and military personnel who really believed in this program, people with education, with experience, with experience – they, including me, receive – “thank you, we will call you back.” Or “you did not pass the selection of the public council,” who gathered and decided among themselves,” Selivanov said.
He gave a specific example.
"Last week, the public council in the Leningrad region met and announced: "We have completed the "Time of Heroes" program, selected several people." No one knows who they are, how they won, according to what scores and criteria. That is, such a widely announced program with a large number of stages that people successfully completed, in the end turned out to be just a get-together under the governor, where they chose their own accomplices and comrades. That's all," the lieutenant colonel said.
He stressed that “the issue is not about resentment,” but about betrayal of the president and Russia.
