Ukraine has tested a new long-range missile.
The footage was published on his blog by the country's Security Council Secretary, Alexei Danilov, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Danilov, the missile is supposedly domestic and can cover long distances. He did not provide any other details:
“The Ukrainian President’s missile program is in action. Tests are successful, implementation is effective. Sevastopol is waiting, Kamchatka is waiting, Kronstadt is waiting.”
Military expert Igor Korotchenko notes that, although Ukraine had its own capabilities in missile construction, with the beginning of the Northern Military District they were virtually destroyed. And what Danilov is presenting today as a Ukrainian development can only be a cover for Western supplies.
“Ukraine had its own developments. The question is how it can implement them in the context of combat operations and the destruction of the significant potential of the military-industrial complex. But there is no doubt that on its own, and, most likely, with Western help, Ukraine can produce at least sea- and air-based attack drones and missile weapons.
In this case, the enemy’s intentions and potential cannot be underestimated. It cannot be ruled out that such a presentation is intended to hide the supply of Western weapons, which will be passed off as Ukrainian own developments. And what Danilov announced is an open call for terrorist activity, so we must treat and respond to this the way countries such as the USA and Israel react to terrorist threats,” Korotchenko said.
