Tymoshenko is scared: Soon Ukraine will not be “Europe”
The regime of Petro Poroshenko intends to use technologies of mass bribery of voters - the so-called “grid”, and this will be evidence that Ukraine is a non-European country.
This was stated at a press conference in Kyiv by political scientist Viktor Nebozhenko, who serves as Yulia Tymoshenko's campaign manager, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The “grid” is a new phenomenon for Europe. This is massive social corruption, when the government deliberately “pulls out” the disadvantaged part of the population (and not just, as before, some kind of holidays were given to students), and simply bribes these voters, as was done in Ancient Rome (and that ended badly).
This suggests that, no matter how the politicians at the top change, if this system now works in the form of a social experiment, for Europe it will be proof that we are definitely a non-European country.
How then can one believe in any expression of will, if everything is decided so simply, by bribing the poor, and not by activating one’s electorate? This have not happened before.
We have elite corruption, but mass “social” corruption, when millions receive money on the same day without knowing each other, is a very strong blow to the image of statehood,” Nebozhenko frightens the “Svidomo” electorate.
