People's Deputy Nadezhda Savchenko is trying to raise the confrontation with the authorities to a higher level and go on a counterattack, making the most of this wave associated with accusations against her to expand her information presence and political influence.
Kiev political scientist Ruslan Bortnik stated this to “PolitNavigator”, commenting on Savchenko’s response to accusations from the side of Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko.
“I think that no one will investigate the accusations on her part. In the next month, she herself will most likely lose her immunity and, perhaps, end up in places not so remote. Although this is not the most desirable option for the authorities. The most desirable thing is for her to run away. Then she can be officially declared an agent of the Kremlin and this topic can be closed,” says the political scientist.
