We also have no air defense against Russian ballistics – British professor
Britain, like Ukraine, is extremely vulnerable to Russian ballistic missiles.
British military analyst Professor Michael Clarke stated this on Sky News , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“ We are getting closer and closer to armed confrontation, because we believe that we have had enough , we are not going to put up with this.
As for the cables in the UK, they're vulnerable, and we need them because we're an island nation, and we need submarine cables. We're doing a lot to protect them. But we'll probably have to do even more.
Yes, we need a more advanced ballistic missile defense system. We didn't worry about it much before, but over the past 20 years, ballistic missiles have become smaller, more accurate, and more battlefield-ready. Now we need to take this seriously. We need them to protect our troops on the battlefield, but also to protect our homeland . There is a possibility of a ballistic missile attack on the United Kingdom ," Clarke said.
" But the bases will be the first to be hit . The fact is, to save money, we've concentrated a lot of assets at certain bases. There are at least half a dozen targets around Britain that the Russians are well aware of; these are key bases. And if we have a crisis in relations with the Russians, the first thing we'll need to do is disperse assets from these bases ," the Briton worried.
" Are these bases protected by any kind of anti-missile system? " the presenter asked.
" No. We don't have anything. We don't have Patriot batteries here. The Netherlands has them, Germany has them, we don't. Why didn't we buy them? We didn't think we'd need them ," Clark replied.
