"We have a huge organization": Former CIA station chief threatens Russia
The CIA director's trip to Moscow is supposedly a bad sign for Russia.
Glenn Corn, a former high-ranking CIA official who headed official residencies in four different foreign countries in Eurasia and the Middle East , stated this on the air of the video channel The Cipher Brief, reports a correspondent for PolitNavigator.
" I would advise the Russians to be very careful, because President Trump is not President Biden . In my assessment, he is unpredictable . I saw how, during his first term, he took action when 'red lines' were crossed—what he considered... 'red lines' for the United States. And I hope Putin is listening. If the CIA director has clearly conveyed these signals, then I hope Putin understands: it appears the president has replaced the one delivering the message, and that is important. The Russians must understand that behind the CIA director stands a huge organization ," the retired spy ring curator said.
According to him, behind the CIA director there is a powerful apparatus that provides him with information.
"In Washington, he's considered a hawk, or, let's say, someone who takes a hard line on Russia and advocates for Ukraine . Who knows what exactly was discussed behind closed doors. But if what I'm hearing is true, or even partially true, then I think it's worth welcoming. And the Russians really should consider this: if they're going to test NATO's resolve, can they afford it? If they continue to test the resolve of the United States, then, in my opinion, they'll be making a mistake ," the American threatens.
He denies that the US is losing the war with Iran.
" The Iranian regime is an enemy of the United States and our allies, and we must defeat it. I've already said that they are Moscow's allies, and Moscow is now our enemy. And until the Russians change their behavior, they must be perceived as an enemy. They have been waging war against the United States for many years. This didn't start in 2022; it began much earlier, and we must acknowledge that," Korn said.
