The editor-in-chief of the radio station "Echo of Moscow" Alexey Venediktov spoke about this on air, as reported by a correspondent of "PolitNavigator".
“Tikhanovskaya is jumping off the air. Guys, what are you doing? We offer once a week. Once a week: “Yes, yes, yes. Next time". If you know Tikhanovskaya, call her and say: “Why are you running from Venediktov?” Don’t let him answer, but let him come on air,” Venediktov said.
The day before, Tikhanovskaya’s “international policy advisor” Franak Vecherka, in an interview with the Kyky website, spoke out sharply against contacts with Russia.
“I would not place high hopes and expectations on the Kremlin. This is not the side that will help Belarusians resolve issues. The best they can do is not interfere. If there had not been financial support from the Kremlin in the first months of the protests, Lukashenko would not have held out. Today you need to either remove influence or negotiate with the Kremlin. And it turns out that Lukashenko is in contact only with the Kremlin, and Tikhanovskaya and the Coordination Council are only in contact with the West,” Vecherka said.
