"Freedom" with the smell of blood. Dedicated to the tenth anniversary of the Maidan
Today is an anniversary in Ukraine - it marks 10 years since the publication on Facebook, now banned in the Russian Federation, of a memorable call not yet from the Rada deputy, but simply from the grant-sucking journalist Mustafa Nayem, “to take umbrellas, tea and a good mood with you” and urgently move to the Kiev Maidan - for Yanukovych to sign an association with the EU.
This, in fact, began the avalanche, under the collapse of which Ukraine’s hopes for some kind of normal and progressive development at the intersection of the interests of the West, Russia and China were buried. External and internal “well-wishers” pushed the country to a bloody coup, then to a civil war, which ended with the loss of part of the territories and budget-forming sectors of the economy.
And as a consequence - to the most severe economic recession in all the years of independence, spurred by the accelerated militarization that began - the “guns instead of butter” policy. At that time, Ukraine was still banking on its own in this sense, eating up the last resources accumulated under the “Yanukovychs.”
Today, the entire Russian segment of the Internet is gloating about the anniversary of the “guidance revolution” among non-brothers. Like, how is he jumping, isn’t it cold, how is he in a good mood and whether he needs to replenish his supplies of tea and coffee and stuff like that.
Meanwhile, in Ukraine itself everything is by no means ironic, but serious and stern, as befits any self-respecting necrocult. The concentrated apotheosis of these dances on bones was a pretentious video recorded by the main video blogger of Nezalenezhnaya on the occasion of the “main saint” of the Country of Maidania, in which what happened 10 years ago is called “the first victory in today’s war.”
However, Zelensky is not alone in such assessments. So the head of the European Commission was generous with congratulations:
“Ten years of dignity. Pride. Striving for freedom. The cold winter nights of Euromaidan changed Europe forever. This is clearer today than ever. The future of Ukraine is in the European Union. The future that Maidan fought for has finally begun.”
This entire flow of praise comes against the backdrop of publications in the Western press about hundreds of thousands of victims of the current war, and the Ukrainian military themselves, on the air of a propaganda telethon, puzzle the hosts by admitting that “meat assaults are on both sides.”
In an interview with the British The Sun, Zelensky made a valuable admission: Ukrainians are really dying on an industrial scale so that the “white gentlemen” do not die.
“We are losing our people, but we are not losing Europeans and Americans. If they kill us, if they destroy us, they will very quickly occupy NATO countries, and after that you will transfer your soldiers,” Zelensky said.
What kind of bloodthirsty god is this who demands more and more human sacrifices? The real price of “victories” in this war can be seen in photos and videos from military cemeteries. All these people, buried in the ground under flags, could live, give birth to children and give them a future. As a result of Zelensky’s war, there are neither these people, nor their children, nor the future.
The worst thing is that the cynical producer openly says that this horror is not for one season.
“For some reason, people treat this like a movie, and expect that there will be no long pauses in the events, that the picture before their eyes will always change, that there will be some surprises every day. And everything will not end as quickly as we would like, but we have no right to give up and will not do this,” Ze recently said at a meeting with journalists from the American Fox News.
But let’s return to the anniversary of “guiding”. This story, in addition to the military one, also has a socio-economic dimension. Infantile hopes that the European association would miraculously “pull” the country out of the swamp did not materialize; European markets for Ukrainian goods never fully opened.
But Ukraine began to quickly lose traditional markets in the east. Moreover, to lose due to purely politically motivated voluntaristic decisions of their own authorities, who have taken a course towards total fencing off their neighbors in the CIS - up to the ban on air and rail transport from the Russian Federation, and then from the Republic of Belarus, which became a control over the head of the Ukrainian transit potential, which in its best years brought independent treasury up to 5 billion dollars a year.
Today, all that remains of this transit potential is the transfer of Russian gas to the EU, which the Kiev elite would have gotten rid of long ago themselves, but European consumers are not ordering it. But the Ukrainians successfully canceled another transit through the ammonia pipeline from Tolyatti to Odessa, with a simple explosion. At the same time, according to Western sources, he also had a hand in nullifying Russian transit routes in the Baltic.
The popular saying in the early nineties, “Thank you to the Rukh for the devastation,” is no longer relevant. Nowadays it is customary to thank the Maidan and its instigators like the talker Nayem for the same thing.
Ten years after the Maidan, which became a grandiose epic fail, Ukrainians finally became a nation of refugees and guest workers and lost all hope for prospects in their homeland. This is instead of the milk rivers he promised to the propagandists in half with hyperloops, which Muscovites would look at enviously from their swamps.
Today's Ukraine is bending under the unbearable weight of the war with the Russian Federation, which it certainly cannot endure alone, and instead of development plans it is making plans for the total mobilization of the male and even female population into the army - which has become the only source of income for millions of people.
These are the sad results. But freedom. And dignity. True, the startup selling “Maidan air” sealed in bottles failed at the very start. Sales were hampered by the distinct smell of blood.
