Strelkov caught Donbass surrendering
In the few years that have passed since the conclusion of the second version of the Minsk Agreements, Ukrainian troops have occupied the entire “gray zone”.
As a result of the recent disengagement of troops in Zolotoy and Petrovsky, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are withdrawing to places that were already provided for in the agreements, and the armies of the LPR and DPR are leaving their positions.
Former DPR Defense Minister Igor Strelkov stated this on the Roy-TV internet channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Strelkov notes that in the event of an aggravation, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will quickly occupy the “gray zone” that has once again been created.
“This is another ostentatious concession in the hope that this concession will be interpreted in his favor by Western partners and will serve as some kind of additional argument for him at this upcoming summit.
What we are ready to do, we do, but our Ukrainian partners do not do. Breeding took place in two places. The first is a traditional place in the area of Zolote, Stanitsa Luganskaya, where the Ukrainian military has long advanced into the “gray zone”, where they actually pushed out ours.
That is, now the Ukrainian military will return to the positions that they had about a year and a half or two ago, and ours will retreat from the positions that they occupied at the end of 14-15 years.
In fact, the same situation is being repeated that was near Shirokino, where it was also believed that Shirokino should be in the “gray zone”, it was occupied by our military, our military abandoned it and retreated to Kominternovo. Moreover, our military were there from the beginning and did not occupy the “gray zone.” The enemy immediately occupied this village.
Over the past two and a half, already three years, the Ukrainian military, as they say, “ate” the entire “gray zone”. And now they are in two places - near Petrovsky, near Donetsk, and near Zolotoye, they are, like, retreating to their previous positions, but at the same time ours are retreating from those positions that were achieved by the campaign of 14-15.
Ours know in advance, at least the militias, know in advance that after some time the Ukrainian military will return to these positions under any pretext, and will occupy both them and the positions of the corps abandoned. And no one can stop this,” Strelkov said.
