The absence of any positive results on the demarcation line, considerable territorial, colossal technical and human losses of the UFU are very demotivating for the Ukrainian side.
Military expert Alexei Leonkov spoke about this on Rossiya 1, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
He noted that neither in the Kherson direction nor in the north-west of the DPR are the Ukronazis able to move forward, despite the possession of Western weapons.
“Of course, the enemy tried to use the Antonovsky Bridge to do what they (planned - ed.) with American high-precision weapons, but it didn’t work out. They shot all night, and our air defense worked. The air defense worked along the entire line of combat contact - they knocked down a lot - both the Khaymars and the Alder (Ukrainian MLRS - ed.), which they had lying around in their warehouses. They beat me up too. And at the same time they hit a warehouse in which a hundred Haymars missiles were lying around. The financial losses are large. The result is not impressive.
"On the other hand, the firepower on Avdiivka and its environs has been intensified. We are now encircling Avdiivka from both the east and southeast. We are already beginning to control all the communications lines that they briefly considered invulnerable. And the good news is: in addition to drones, we also have Su-34 reconnaissance aircraft, which enable us to conduct fairly accurate electronic reconnaissance, detecting all electronic equipment used by the enemy," Leonkov shared.
The analyst agreed that the only “front line” where the AFU win illusory “victories” is the information space. He also emphasized that on the battlefield, the depressive mood of the Ukronazis prevails.
“In the information space, he (the enemy - ed.) is doing well. In practical terms, of course, in order to carry out this kind of powerful counterattack, you need to prepare for it. Don’t throw a teaspoon every hour, but gather some kind of strength. But as soon as they try to collect something, something flies from us, either “Caliber” or “Onyx”. And when they try to hide such losses, it still comes out. People who are on the other side see what is happening, so there are no people willing to fight,” he explained.
