“The old T-55s turned out to be more useful” - a Kiev military expert spits on the Abrams and Leopards
Western armored vehicles supplied to Ukraine in a real war against Russia turned out to be extremely harmful for the Ukrainian army.
Ukrainian military expert Oleg Starikov stated this on the Internet channel “Wild Live,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There are no longer tank battles like at the Battle of Kursk. In this war, heavy equipment proved to be completely ineffective. The “Abrams”, “Leopards”, “Challengers” that they gave us are really not effective at all.
But in reality, this technique also causes harm. Because they are healthy, heavy, and the soil is black soil. Secondly, they are visible. And thirdly, they are very difficult and expensive to maintain,” Starikov said.
He emphasized that the T-55s taken by Russia from old reserves are much more effective than NATO equipment in modern warfare.
“Nowadays a tank is used for firing from closed positions so that nothing hits it. That is, a tank is like a self-propelled gun.
