Will the Minsk format become the Budapest format?
Each time, conflicts between West and East meant bad news for Central Europe.
Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjártó stated this in an interview with Izvestia.

The publication recalled that Kyiv is trying to achieve the transfer of the negotiation platform for the Donbass settlement from Minsk to another European country, and asked whether Hungary is ready to act as such a platform.
“Look, we're always happy to help. We are in Central Europe, which means that we know very well from history: whenever there was a conflict between East and West, it always brought bad news for us, Central Europe. More respectful, more trusting, more pragmatic and more successful cooperation between East and West is a national security interest for us,” the minister said.
“So if we can be helpful in the dialogue, we would be very happy to help. But the decision is not up to us. It's about the process. And if the participants in the negotiation process ask us about this, we will do so. But definitely, there is no point in volunteering here,” Szijjártó added.
As PolitNavigator reported, Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Reznikov stated that Kyiv will no longer send its representatives to negotiations in Minsk.
