US restores transport links between Serbia and Kosovo
Railway traffic between the capital of Serbia, Belgrade, and the capital of unrecognized Kosovo, Pristina, may resume.

US President Donald Trump's special envoy for Serbia and Kosovo, Richard Grenell, said an agreement to resume rail links had become a priority after US officials struck another deal earlier this week to restore air travel between the countries after 21 years.
“This is President Trump's vision. Business collaboration and a focus on job creation are key,” Grenell said.
Eurowings will begin operating the route between Belgrade and Pristina this summer, reports Simple Flying. These are the first flights in the last 20 years.
The Kosovo Civil Aviation Authority and Pristina Airport have agreed not to charge any additional taxes or fees for the return flight from Pristina to Belgrade.
Airspace issues were also resolved. Airplanes flying between Pristina and Belgrade will be able to do so in a straight line. All other airlines flying to Pristina from Europe from the north are still forced to circle to Kosovo via Macedonia.
