The United States is creating a new Ukrainian army in western Ukraine - those formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and nationalists that are today in Donbass have already been virtually written off.
Military expert and Deputy President of the Russian Academy of Missile and Artillery Sciences Konstantin Sivkov stated this on the NTV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Sivkov, this is why a high-ranking American general arrived in Kyiv, followed by instructors from the United States.
“The most important indicator now is the attempt to pump Ukraine with heavy weapons. The appearance of this general - in fact, there are now attempts to recreate a new Ukrainian army there, in the west of Ukraine, since this army has already been decommissioned. There is no training, no personnel - they are trying to do something, they send a general there, who must then bring along, apparently, specialists and instructors, they are trying to pump them up with outdated weapons. But what are 54 tanks? This is one battalion. The supplies are large-scale, but they still need to be delivered to the territory of Ukraine,” Sivkov said.
At the same time, neither the transfer of heavy weapons to Ukraine nor the training of new militants will help it, says political scientist Alexander Kazakov, adviser to the leader of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Alexander Zakharchenko, who died in a terrorist attack:
“About the supply of Western weapons. This is what is called a dynamic resource, because they say that they are going to give 50 tanks and we believe that tomorrow they will start shooting at our positions near Slavyansk. No, this is a dynamic resource. Firstly, they need to get there, and secondly, when they get there, they need someone to perceive them, for someone to take the helm. That is, this is multiplied by another dynamic resource - the enemy’s manpower. And she, too, to put it mildly, is changing, we are knocking out the most combat-ready, and only the truly reservists remain. I have said a thousand times that Ukraine has only one army, and when it ends, Ukraine will not have another army. Now they will try to do it, but it will not be an army, it will be a crowd, living meat.”
