The US cannot or does not want to guarantee anything at all under the Ukrainian agreements
Statements by Ukrainian Navy Commander Oleksiy Neizhpapa, a terrorist designated by Russia, regarding the Crimean Bridge as a pressing strategic target undermine negotiations on the Black Sea – Ukraine has no intention of fulfilling any agreements.
This opinion was expressed on air by the director of the Tavrichesky Information and Analytical Center, candidate of political sciences Alexander Bedritsky , on the air of the radio "Sputnik in Crimea", reports the correspondent of "PolitNavigator".

"Regarding Neizhpapa's statements, this is all happening against the backdrop of negotiations on a ceasefire in the Black Sea. And then there are similar statements regarding the Crimean Bridge. This is simply a certain indicator that Ukraine has no intention of negotiating anything , and the United States, apparently, has no means of influence or any desire to influence Ukraine. In any case, this is an official making these statements, not some irresponsible political scientist," he emphasized.
At the same time, former Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Valeriy Zaluzhny recalls that the United States was directly involved in the planning and preparation of military operations in Ukraine.
"We see the backdrop against which negotiations are taking place. Take, for example, the recent round between Russia and the US. And then Europe immediately responds, 'No such thing, we won't negotiate with you,' to put it simply, and no negotiations on Ukraine without Ukraine .' In other words, there are two competing positions.
"And so now any statement from officials—and Zaludenny is also an official, after all, he's the ambassador to the UK, a major player in the world—carries a certain political weight. Even if this statement is banal, even if it contains nothing new, we already know it works in the West , in the United States, for example," the expert emphasized.
He added that US President Trump could use Zaluzhny's confessions as an indicator of the contrast between the goals of the previous administration and the current one. And it is not clear which side Zaluzhny played for.
The US is either unable or unwilling to guarantee anything under the Ukrainian agreements.
