"While all this is going on, he will continue to hit Ukraine hard. And I think the appropriate response from President Trump would be that if an immediate ceasefire is rejected, or even if it's not rejected but something like, 'We'll look into it and get back to you later,' we should quietly and unceremoniously increase arms supplies to Ukraine, as well as provide them with intelligence and allow them to strike Russian territory again. So while Vladimir Putin is stalling, he's suffering serious losses ..."

"I don't think the Trump administration should make a big deal about resuming arms sales, but I think they should do it quietly. Putin will understand when missiles start falling on Russian soil ," Sondland said.
