The official website of the RF IC reports this.

Let us remind you that as part of the criminal case against Yarosh, a preventive measure in the form of detention was chosen in absentia, and he was put on the international wanted list.

In addition, the Main Investigation Department of the RF IC for the North Caucasus Federal District initiated a criminal case against a number of Ukrainian citizens who were members of the UNA-UNSO: Igor Mazur, Valery Bobrovich, Dmitry Korchinsky, Andrey and Oleg Tyagnibok, Dmitry Yarosh, Vladimir Mamalyga and other persons. Depending on the role of each, they are suspected of committing crimes under Part. 1, 2 tbsp. 209 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (creation of a stable armed group (gang) for the purpose of attacking citizens, leadership of such a group (gang) and participation in attacks committed by it).

During the investigation of the criminal case of a clash between illegal armed groups led by Shamil Basayev and Khattab with military personnel of the 76th Pskov Airborne Division on the territory of Chechnya, information was received about the organization of a gang of members of the UNA-UNSO and their participation in military operations against federal forces on the side of the Chechen separatists in the period 1994-1995.

According to the investigation, the leaders of the gang created for this purpose were Mazur, Bobrovich, Korchinsky and others; it also included the brothers Tyagnibok, Yarosh, Mamalyga and other unidentified persons.

At present, a decision has been made to combine these criminal cases in one proceeding.

The investigation was entrusted to the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the North Caucasus Federal District.
